Sarah believes that love is love, and that everyone should be allowed to celebrate in the way they wish.
Sarah is an LGBTQ+ ally in both her personal life and her business. She does not work with vendors or venues that discriminate on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation. She is proud to support LGBTQ+ couples and vendors for their wedding days, commitment ceremonies, and vow renewals. Sarah is a donor to the Campaign for Southern Equality, a nonprofit organization that advocates for equal rights for LGBTQ+ people throughout the southern United States.

Sarah believes that music should be accessible for all.
Sarah attended a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) public school as a young child. This experience made a big impact on her and she studied American Sign Language (ASL) for many years. Sarah is working on ways to incorporate visual and/or tactile elements into her performances so that Deaf and HoH audiences can enjoy her music as well. She hopes to have a system ready to use in 2024.

Sarah believes that the key to a successful wedding day is communication and transparency with between you and your wedding vendors. She values her relationships with all of her unique clients and her transparency throughout the planning process earns their trust. All clients are provided with clear pricing information upfront and her contract is comprehensive yet easy to understand. She welcomes all questions and feedback.

Engaged couples in North Carolina often choose to work with Sarah because of her high degree of responsiveness. She responds within 48 hours to all messages because she understands the stress planning a wedding can bring. Wedding planners also love working with Sarah because she is easy to communicate with.
Quality
After having studied music from the age of 5, Sarah started learning the harp and began playing at weddings at age 15. Since then, she has mastered the musicianship, timing, and delivery that comes with playing for life’s most special moments.

In every email, call, and interaction, Sarah builds a person-to-person relationship with her clients. She sees her clients as whole people, not just the “bride” or the “groom.” She is open and genuine throughout the planning process and loves to learn about her clients. She knows how important rapport between the couple and their vendors is on the wedding day. While she collaborates with other wedding musicians, she is the harpist performing for your wedding, not a stranger.
